This is the first call by the newly established ONE line to Mumbai’s Nhava Sheva terminal. ONE was established in 2017 by the integration of three Japanese shipping companies – Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha Ltd (“K” Line), Mitsui O.S.K. Lines Ltd (MOL) and Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha (NYK).

The PS3 service, while Eastbound, comprises of 11 vessels and would call ports such as Pipavav, Colombo, Port Kelang, Singapore, Laem Chabang, Cai Mep, Los Angeles and Oakland. On its return, the service would call Pusan, Shanghai, Ningbo, Shekou, Singapore and Port Kelang before calling back at Nhava Sheva.

“We offer our best wishes to Ocean Network Express (ONE) on their maiden call to Nhava Sheva. Truly humbled by the trust bestowed by ONE upon GTI, we look forward to serving the trade together.”, said Kamal Jain, CEO APM Terminals Mumbai welcoming the vessel.
Nhava Sheva, the busiest container port in northwest India, handled a record 4.7 million TEUS in 2017, with APM Terminals Mumbai accounting for 1.96 million TEUs, or 42% of the port’s total container volume.
