Handles record cement at shallow berth
Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT) has launched its mobile app for the exim trade.
It was done at the hands of Mr Sanjay Sethi, IAS, Chairman of JNPT, during a stakeholders meeting last week.
As per an official communiqué, the app will provide information on container tracking, weather and tidal conditions, and new developments at the port. It is available on both the iOS App Store and Google Play Store.
Meanwhile, the port has created a new record by handling 9,008 MT of cement coastal cargo, belonging to UltraTech Cement, at the Shallow Water Berth, with a turnaround time of 2.74 days.
