At its recent Annual General Body Meeting held at Hotel Radisson, Kandla, Mundra Port Shipping Agents Association (MPSAA) selected its new office-bearers for 2017-18.
The General Body unanimously selected Mr Sathian Pattiampully of MSC Agency (India) Pvt. Ltd as the new President, Mr C. M. Muraleedharan of Shreyas Relay Systems Ltd as the Vice-President and Mr Santhosh Zachariah of Transworld Global Logistics Solutions (India) Pvt. Ltd as Honorary Secretary. Mr Mitesh Dharamshi of Parekh Marine Agencies continues as Treasurer and Mr Sathish Nair of J. M. Baxi & Co. was selected as Joint Secretary.
Mr Sabu Varghese of Opal Asia (India) Pvt. Ltd and Mr Prithviraj Rathore of MSC Agency were selected as the Managing Committee members.
MPSAA, which has been representing the shipping trade at Mundra since 2004, has played a vital role in addressing and dealing with the issues of common interest for all shipping lines and agencies. MPSAA has always maintained a smooth and cordial relationship with all authorities and endeavoured to work for the overall betterment of the trade, bringing transparency, setting guidelines and work processes, easing procedures and policies for smooth and uniform functioning.
Mr Sathian Pattiampully, President, stressed that MPSAA looks forward to add more shipping lines and shipping agencies as members, to strengthen the Association and carry forward its matters in a more amicable and vibrant manner.
