A monthly cross-border rail service to Nepal has been introduced by BLR, one of India’s top logistics companies. For both Indian and foreign customers, this program provides economical, eco-friendly, and effective transportation options. The trip from Jhagadia to Ankleshwar ICD marked the start of the service on April 28, 2025. By May 15, 2025, the forward loading was finished, and that same day, the train to Birgunj ICD via Raxaul was flagged off.

By connecting Gujarat, Rajasthan, the National Capital Region, and Chennai to Birgunj, Nepal, the monthly rail services would ease the burden of road traffic, save money on logistics, and produce zero carbon emissions, all of which will help green initiatives. In order to satisfy the increasing needs of its clientele, the business intends to extend its offerings to further locations.
