Adani Logistics Limited (ALL), the logistics arm of Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ), has announced the inauguration of its latest Adani Logistics Park and Inland Container Depot (ICD) at Kishangarh, Rajasthan. The launch marks another major step in the company’s mission to build a robust, multimodal logistics network that powers India’s trade and industry.

A new gateway for trade in Rajasthan

Strategically located in Mandawariya village, just 4 km from the RIICO industrial area and 5 km from National Highway 8 (NH8), the Kishangarh facility is spread over 100 acres, with 35 acres already developed in the first phase. Its proximity to both industrial clusters and arterial road networks positions it as a natural hub for manufacturers, exporters, and traders across Rajasthan and neighboring states.

Crucially, the logistics park comes equipped with direct rail connectivity to Indian Railways and the Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC) through the New Marwar Junction. This multimodal integration allows faster and more cost-efficient cargo movement, giving industries in the region a significant competitive edge.

Designed for multi-sector growth

The Kishangarh ICD has been developed as a multi-sectoral hub, capable of serving a wide spectrum of industries. From retail and fast-moving consumer goods to automobiles, bulk commodities, grains, and e-commerce, the facility has been engineered to support both containerized and bulk cargo seamlessly.

By offering world-class warehousing, container handling, and value-added logistics services, the park is expected to streamline supply chains, reduce turnaround times, and enable exporters to access global markets more efficiently. Importers, meanwhile, will benefit from faster inland movement of goods and improved inventory management.

Driving regional development

The new logistics park is not just about improving cargo efficiency; it is also about catalyzing economic growth in Rajasthan. With its ability to connect local producers to national and international markets, the ICD is projected to attract fresh industrial investments and accelerate the development of ancillary services such as transport, packaging, and warehousing.

Employment generation is another key outcome. The park is expected to create direct and indirect jobs across operations, administration, and allied services, strengthening Kishangarh’s role as an industrial and trade hub.

A step towards export competitiveness

Rajasthan has traditionally been strong in industries like textiles, handicrafts, marble, cement, and engineering goods. With the commissioning of this ICD, exporters in these sectors gain access to a facility that shortens lead times, lowers logistics costs, and provides better connectivity to India’s major ports, including Mundra and Pipavav—both part of the APSEZ network.

This enhanced connectivity aligns with India’s broader goal of improving its export competitiveness by cutting logistics costs as a share of GDP, a long-standing challenge for the economy.

Part of a larger national network

The Kishangarh facility adds to Adani Logistics’ growing portfolio of Multi-Modal Logistics Parks (MMLPs) across India. These parks are being positioned as integrated nodes that seamlessly combine rail, road, and port connectivity, offering end-to-end solutions for cargo movement.

APSEZ has articulated a long-term vision of becoming the world’s largest integrated transport utility, with its logistics arm playing a critical role in linking India’s manufacturing clusters with global trade corridors. The Kishangarh launch is a tangible step in realizing that ambition.

Reinforcing Adani’s integrated approach

By combining its expertise in port management with investments in inland logistics infrastructure, Adani is uniquely positioned to deliver a “port-to-door” ecosystem. Customers using the Kishangarh ICD can leverage the wider Adani network—ports, terminals, shipping, and logistics services—ensuring cargo moves with greater visibility, speed, and cost efficiency.

Looking ahead

With the commissioning of this park, Adani Logistics has signaled its intent to deepen its footprint in landlocked states and provide industries with infrastructure that reduces dependency on distant coastal hubs. As industrial growth in India shifts inland, facilities like Kishangarh will become essential anchors for manufacturing and export-driven expansion.

For Rajasthan, the inauguration of the Adani Logistics Park and ICD is more than just an infrastructure milestone—it is a gateway to global trade opportunities, promising to reshape the region’s role in India’s logistics and export landscape.
