Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd (APSEZ) posted strong operational numbers for February 2026, handling 42.5 million metric tonnes (MMT) of cargo, a 16% year-on-year jump driven by robust container and dry bulk flows.
Container volumes grew 14% year-on-year, while dry cargo rose 15%, underscoring sustained trade momentum across the group’s network of ports on India’s west and east coasts. Year-to-date (April 2025–February 2026), APSEZ moved 454.7 MMT of cargo, up 11% from the same period a year earlier, supported by a 20% rise in container traffic.
On the logistics side, rail cargo volumes touched 52,101 TEUs in February, a 3% increase, even as GPWIS (General Purpose Wagon Investment Scheme) volumes softened to 1.7 MMT, down 8% year-on-year.
