Aerocity, located near Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport, is poised to become India’s most seamlessly connected multimodal transport hub, integrating high-speed rail, metro, road, and air connectivity. The upcoming Namo Bharat corridor and Delhi Metro’s Golden Line will make Aerocity a central gateway for travellers across the National Capital Region (NCR).

The Delhi–Gurugram–SNB (Shahjahanpur–Neemrana–Behror) Namo Bharat corridor, developed by the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC), will span 106 km with 16 stations, linking Sarai Kale Khan in Delhi to Rajasthan. Designed with interoperable features, the system will allow passengers to travel across the Delhi–Ghaziabad–Meerut, Delhi–Gurugram–SNB, and Delhi–Panipat–Karnal routes without changing trains. Of the total length, 71 km will be elevated and 35 km underground.

Commuters can now travel between Delhi and Meerut in just about an hour, redefining convenience and connectivity in the NCR and similar benefits will follow with the implementation of the Delhi–SNB–Alwar and Delhi–Panipat–Karnal corridors, further strengthening Aerocity’s position as the region’s largest transit hub.

Complementing this development, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation’s Golden Line — a 25.82 km fully driverless corridor from Tughlaqabad to IGI Airport Terminal 1 — is under construction and expected to be completed by March 2026. Featuring 15 stations, including an interchange at Aerocity, the line will connect with the Airport Express, Yellow (Chhatarpur), and Violet (Tughlaqabad) lines.

Adding to its prominence, Aerocity is also evolving into a major business and lifestyle destination. Bharti Real Estate’s Worldmark Global Business District is being developed over four phases, covering more than 20 million sq ft. While Worldmark 1.0 is already operational and Worldmark 2.0 nearing completion, The Mall at Worldmark is expected by 2027, with Phases 3.0 and 4.0 scheduled between 2027 and 2032.

With robust transport infrastructure and commercial expansion, Aerocity is set to redefine urban mobility and emerge as the nerve centre of NCR’s future growth.
