Air India Express has joined the International Air Transport Association (IATA), reinforcing its commitment to global standards and operational excellence. IATA, which represents more than 350 airlines from over 120 countries and accounts for over 80% of worldwide air traffic, requires members to meet stringent safety and operational benchmarks.

The airline has been IOSA (IATA Operational Safety Audit) certified since 2017, a prerequisite for membership that involves compliance with more than 900 safety and operational criteria. With this step, Air India Express, which currently serves 41 domestic and 17 international destinations, strengthens its integration into the global aviation community.
