Ajit Kumar Panda appointed CMD of CONCOR

Container Corporation of India Ltd (CONCOR) has appointed Ajit Kumar Panda as its Chairman and Managing Director, marking a key leadership change at the company. The appointment is effective from August 1, 2026, according to the company’s disclosure, and comes after approval by the Ministry of Railways.

Panda is currently serving as Director (Project & Services) at CONCOR, and his elevation to the top post reflects continuity in leadership from within the organisation. His tenure as CMD will run until his superannuation on August 31, 2028, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
