APM Terminals Pipavav has taken a decisive step toward delivering on its commitments from the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024, signing two major contracts for the construction of a state-of-the-art liquid jetty at Pipavav Port. The agreements, with L&T GeoStructure and Van Oord India Private Limited—both leaders in marine infrastructure—will bring to life a world-class liquid cargo handling facility set to significantly boost the port’s capacity and capabilities.
The project is poised to serve as a powerful catalyst for national and regional growth, in line with India’s Maritime India Vision 2030 and the PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan. Once operational, the liquid jetty will:
- Strengthen national infrastructure – Expand port capacity, streamline logistics, and reinforce India’s long-term maritime strategy.
- Drive economic growth – Enhance liquid cargo throughput, attract industrial investment, and cement Gujarat’s status as a leading maritime hub.
- Foster regional development – Create employment, empower local communities, and spur growth along the Pipavav corridor.
This initiative underscores APM Terminals Pipavav’s commitment to modernising India’s maritime infrastructure while advancing sustainable, broad-based economic progress.
