Another consignment of rice imported from India via Mongla Port will be delivered in January 2021. Bangladesh is importing 100,000 metric tonnes of rice from India to keep prices stable in the local markets. 40% of this rice will be imported through Mongla Port.
Already the first consignment of 4200mt rice has reached Chattogram Port.
