Bosch Mobility Platform and Solutions has officially rolled out the Supply Chain Studio, a cloud-based toolkit developed to improve visibility and operational efficiency in logistics. The announcement was made during the first Mobility Platform and Solutions (MPS) Summit 2025, attended by industry professionals including logistics operators, warehouse managers, and urban infrastructure stakeholders.
The platform is built on extensive analysis of India’s multimodal logistics landscape and aligns with the goals of the Government’s Gati Shakti initiative. It addresses persistent issues such as fragmented operations, manual coordination, and limited access to real-time data. Supply Chain Studio is designed to integrate with commonly used enterprise software including Tally, along with third-party marketplaces, to meet the needs of varied logistics environments.
The Supply Chain Studio offers a comprehensive suite of solutions designed to streamline and optimize logistics operations. One key feature is the Transport Booking and Management system, which provides a unified platform for discovering transport options, making bookings, and tracking shipments in real time. It includes rate management, spot booking capabilities, and access to a wide range of corporate freight listings, enabling businesses to manage their transportation needs more efficiently.
Another valuable component is the Warehouse Booking system, which offers a searchable directory of warehouse spaces across India. The platform uses a bidding-based model for space allocation, ensuring flexibility and competitive pricing. All listed providers are verified, giving users confidence in the quality and reliability of the facilities they choose.
The Smart Warehouse feature takes warehouse management to the next level by offering a virtual representation of operations. It supports digital inventory matching, automates document handling, and allows for mobile-enabled workflows, enhancing the overall efficiency and accuracy of warehouse activities. This smart approach significantly reduces manual intervention and increases operational speed.
For logistics hubs, the Bay and Yard Manager provides advanced scheduling and flow management tools. This system helps with vehicle movement management at key locations, leveraging automatic number plate recognition (ANPR), dock assignment tools, and intelligent gate systems. These features work together to optimize traffic flow and reduce delays, ensuring smoother logistics operations.
Lastly, the e-Distributor platform serves as a business-to-business commerce solution, allowing dealers to list products, manage stock availability, and coordinate order fulfillment across multiple platforms. With a central interface, this system simplifies the management of orders and inventory, streamlining the entire distribution process and improving coordination among all parties involved. As part of the broader launch, Bosch MPS has also introduced the ARC Partner Program (Accelerate, Rise, Collaborate) to facilitate collaboration with companies in logistics, electric mobility, supply chain technologies, and urban infrastructure.
