Cazoo replaced food delivery service Uber Eats on the front of the club’s shirts in July as part of a multi-year agreement. But Marseille announced this week the cancellation of the deal by mutual consent.
The Ligue 1 team, Olympique de Marseille have announced a new sponsorship association with a leading worldwide shipping group, CMA CGM Group. In this deal, the brand is set to serve as the main partner of the club.
The CMA CGM Group, which is a logistics solution provider, will be Olympique de Marseille’s main partner for two seasons. The deal will commence on July 1, 2023.
As part of the deal, CMA CGM Group’s logo will feature on the front of all Olympique de Marseille team jerseys, in addition to throughout the Orange Vélodrome stadium, the Robert Louis-Dreyfus training centre recognised as “La Commanderie,” the OM campus, and the club’s media and digital ecosystem.
This is a one-of-a-kind collaboration with a major local company that arrives at a critical juncture in the Club’s development.
CMA CGM and OM both have deep local roots and the ability to implement passion, expertise, and natural ability in Marseille and beyond. This collaboration reinforces the CMA CGM Group’s pledge to the territory and will help Olympique de Marseille grow.
CMA CGM, as Olympique de Marseille’s main partner, will aid a brand-new generation of players on the field. The collaboration will include all aspects of the Club, from the youth teams and training centre to the professional women’s and men’s teams.
The CMA CGM Foundation and the OM Foundation will also collaborate to support educational and charitable projects.
