CONCOR Inaugurates In-House LNG Fuel Station at MMLP Dadri to Advance Green Logistics

Container Corporation of India has commissioned an in-house liquefied natural gas fuel station at its Multi-Modal Logistics Park in Dadri, marking another step in the company’s push toward cleaner and more sustainable logistics operations. The station was inaugurated by CONCOR CMD Sanjay Swarup.

Who is CONCOR partnering with for this facility?

The station has been developed in collaboration with Indraprastha Gas Limited, which will ensure an uninterrupted supply of LNG for CONCOR’s own fleet of LNG trailers deployed at MMLP Dadri. IGL Managing Director Kumar Shanker attended the inauguration ceremony, along with directors and senior officers from both organisations.

Strategically located at the Dadri logistics hub, the station will cater to heavy commercial vehicles operating to and from the terminal, providing a reliable source of cleaner fuel for transporters. By enabling transporters to refuel within the logistics park itself, CONCOR expects the in-house fuelling infrastructure to reduce turnaround times and support smoother cargo movement. LNG-powered vehicles typically emit lower levels of carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxides, sulphur oxides and particulate matter compared to conventional diesel trucks, making them a more environmentally sustainable choice for long-haul freight operations.
