Logistics major Delhivery Ltd. has expanded its on-demand intracity delivery service with the launch of Delhivery Direct in Mumbai and Hyderabad, strengthening its presence in the fast-growing hyperlocal logistics segment.
With the latest rollout, Delhivery Direct is now operational in five cities—Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, and Hyderabad. The company said the service enables pickups within 15 minutes of placing a booking through the Delhivery Direct mobile application.
The intracity offering is designed primarily for small businesses, direct-to-consumer (D2C) brands, and individual users requiring quick local deliveries. Customers can choose between two-wheelers, three-wheelers, or four-wheelers depending on the size and nature of the shipment, with real-time tracking available across residential and commercial locations.
In addition to same-city deliveries, the Delhivery Direct app also supports intercity shipping, connecting users to more than 18,850 pincodes across India. The app is available for download on both Google Play and the Apple App Store.
Delhivery’s expansion brings it into closer competition with established hyperlocal logistics players such as Porter and Shiprocket, as demand for rapid, flexible delivery solutions continues to rise across urban markets.
