Delta Cargo has completed the rollout of IBS Software’s entire iCargo suite, marking a major step in the carrier’s digital transformation and its shift away from a decades-old legacy management system.

The transition equips Delta’s cargo business—which operates across 252 global stations—with a unified cloud-based platform designed to streamline operations and enhance customer experience. The new system integrates key functions such as terminal handling, truck dock management, customs and security processes, and premium cargo services.

According to Delta, the adoption of iCargo introduces standardised workflows, automated processes and improved task management tools, helping its teams boost productivity, minimise errors and accelerate shipment turnaround times. The platform also consolidates multiple standalone systems, enabling more efficient cost management and operational planning.

The system upgrade follows Delta Cargo’s recent launch of Pulse, a shipment-tracking service designed to provide customers with real-time visibility and enable faster response to operational issues.
