DP World has inaugurated an advanced 8,250-square-metre chemicals warehouse at the Port of Antwerp-Bruges, strengthening its role as a leading force in Europe’s hazardous goods logistics sector. Located adjacent to the Antwerp Gateway terminal, the facility is tailored to store all ADR-classified chemicals—excluding Class 1 (Explosives) and Class 7 (Radioactive materials).

Situated within Europe’s largest integrated chemical cluster, the warehouse is strategically positioned to serve clients across Belgium, northern France, and Luxembourg. It boasts six loading docks and can accommodate up to 10,000 pallets, adhering to the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance for chemical storage and distribution.

DP World’s newly launched chemical warehouse in Antwerp-Bruges marks a strategic growth step in its Benelux footprint, enhancing end-to-end logistics services across the supply chain. The 8,250-square-metre facility is expected to generate 10–20 new local jobs and stands as a testament to DP World’s global hazardous materials expertise, backed by its Singapore-based subsidiary Legend Logistics.

With decades of experience navigating complex regulations in chemical and agricultural logistics, DP World reinforces its leadership in the region. Meanwhile, its ongoing infrastructure upgrades in Eastern Europe—such as halving transit times between Romania and Turkey and expanding Constanța Port with a new RoRo terminal and logistics hub—further amplify its capability and connectivity across the continent.
