DP World Pioneers Carbon Inset Program to Reduce Supply Chain Emissions

DP World is launching a groundbreaking carbon inset program at its UK logistics hubs, London Gateway and Southampton. This initiative aims to help cargo importers reduce their Scope 3 emissions by directly reducing emissions within the supply chain.

By partnering with its subsidiary Unifeeder, DP World will generate carbon credits through the use of lower-carbon fuels in Unifeeder’s Northern European shipping network. These credits will be allocated to importers, providing them with a transparent and measurable way to reduce their carbon footprint.
