Deendayal Port Authority (DPA), Kandla, has clocked another milestone by achieving a record coal discharge of 81,024 tonnes within just 24 hours at Cargo Berth No. 7. The operation, executed with the vessel M.V. MARATHOS, underscores the port’s growing reputation for high-efficiency cargo handling.

The achievement reflects seamless coordination among key execution partners:

  • Stevedores: Shree Ashapura Stevedores (A unit of Ashapura Shipping Group)
  • Vessel Agent: Seascape Shipping Agency India Pvt. Ltd.
  • CHA: Shri Balaji Infraport (A unit of Ashapura Shipping Group)
  • Importer: Balaji Malts Private Limited
