Dredging Corporation of India Ltd has secured Rs.102 crores international contract for dredging in Pussur Channel from Mongla Port to Rampal Power Plant, Bangladesh in global competitive bidding.
The contract value of Rs.102 crores is payable 50% in US Dollars and 50% in Bangladesh Takka. The quantum of dredging is around 3.88 Million Cum to be completed within 15 months.
The Mongla Port, Bangladesh contract is the first international contract secured by the company through global competitive bidding.
