First container rake arrives at Kandla Port’s KICT from DICT

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The first container rake arrived at Kandla Port’s Kandla International Container Terminal (KICT) yard at 16:00 hours on April 3, 2017 carrying 90 TEUs. Most of the containers were stuffed with rice at the Delhi International Cargo Terminal (DICT) ICD, Sonepat, Haryana. The rake completed discharge operations at the KICT Rail Terminal.

Both KICT and DICT have been developed and are operated by the J. M. Baxi Group.

The rake docked at the CRT at 16:04 hours and commenced operations at 16:10 hours. The discharge operation was completed at 16:47 hours, in a remarkable time of 37 minutes, with 72 units discharged and moved to the Container Yard. The rake was released from the KICT siding at 1705 hours.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
