Gati Shakti Cargo Terminal to be developed at Sindi dry port

In a major move to propel Nagpur as one of India’s key logistics hubs, a Gati Shakti Cargo Terminal (GCT) to handle container traffic, will be developed at Sindi dry port.

Central Railway’s Nagpur division signed an agreement to this effect with Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority and National Highways Logistics Management Limited. This is the third Gati Shakti Cargo Terminal (GCT) in the division – the other two being the one owned by JSW Steel at Kalmeshwar and the other by MP Birla Cement at Mukutban on Majri-Adilabad section.
