Global freight forwarder Geodis is expanding its air cargo footprint across South America through a new interline agreement with Atlas Air and mas, broadening access to key regional markets. The collaboration will enhance network coverage in Colombia, Brazil, Panama, Chile and Costa Rica, leveraging mas-operated routes to support growing demand.

Geodis already partners with Atlas Air on dedicated Boeing 747-400 freighter services connecting Shanghai and Hong Kong with Guadalajara, a long-running arrangement designed to secure reliable capacity between Asia and Mexico.

The company said the latest expansion is expected to drive significant growth in Brazil, one of its most critical markets in the region. The interline structure will also enable seamless cargo transfers across flights operated by all three carriers, improving efficiency and reach for shippers.

The announcement follows a milestone in October, when Geodis marked its 500th flight operated in partnership with Atlas Air on the Asia–Mexico corridor. Atlas has run the dedicated service since 2019, currently operating weekly rotations from Shanghai to Guadalajara and Hong Kong to Guadalajara, providing a stable and secure uplift option for customers moving goods across the Pacific.
