Greenply Industries Limited has partnered with GreenLine Mobility Solutions Ltd, a leading green logistics operator driving the decarbonization of the heavy trucking sector in India, to integrate LNG-powered transportation into its outbound logistics operations.

The partnership was formally marked by the flag-off of GreenLine’s LNG-powered trucks at Greenply’s manufacturing facility in Vadodara, Gujarat. Under the collaboration, Greenply will leverage GreenLine’s green logistics network to transport products from its Vadodara facility to destinations across its distribution network.

The initiative brings an alternative-fuel option into Greenply’s logistics operations as the company looks to extend its sustainability focus beyond manufacturing into transportation and distribution. A Greenply representative said the introduction of LNG-powered trucks at the Vadodara facility is a first step towards exploring more responsible mobility solutions within its logistics operations, adding that the company will continue to look at opportunities to adopt solutions that bring savings while balancing environmental considerations with the efficiency and reliability of its supply chain.

Madhur Taneja, CEO, GreenLine Mobility Solutions Ltd, said the company is pleased to partner with Greenply in advancing cleaner freight transportation, noting that the transition to lower-emission logistics requires practical solutions that can be integrated into existing supply chains without compromising operational efficiency. He said GreenLine’s LNG-powered fleet offers businesses an opportunity to take a meaningful step towards greener road freight, and the company is proud to support Greenply in this journey.

GreenLine is driving the transition towards lower-emission road freight in India through its growing fleet of LNG- and electric-powered heavy commercial trucks. The company operates over 1,000 vehicles across major freight corridors, serving industries including steel, cement, mining, FMCG and chemicals. Its fleet has collectively travelled more than 100 million kilometres, helping customers reduce over 27,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions.
