GT LINES has upgraded its Khorfakkan India Express (KIX 1) to a weekly service, improving connectivity between West India and the Gulf region. The enhanced schedule took effect from 15 July 2026 and is aimed at offering faster and more reliable trade links.
New sailing pattern
The service rotation is now Nhava Sheva, Mundra and Khorfakkan, with weekly sailings operated using two vessels of 1,100–1,400 TEU capacity. Transit time has been streamlined to around 3.5 days from Nhava Sheva to Khorfakkan and 4 days from Mundra to Khorfakkan.
Gulf connectivity boost
Through Khorfakkan, cargo can connect seamlessly to the UAE and further into key Gulf markets through GT LINES’ Gulf Connect Network. The upgrade is expected to support shippers looking for integrated logistics solutions and quicker access to Middle East destinations.
