The Housing and Urban Development Corporation Ltd (HUDCO) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) to collaborate on port infrastructure projects valued at around ₹5,000 crore.

In a regulatory filing, HUDCO said the non-binding agreement aims to explore joint initiatives in developing, financing, and refinancing both existing and upcoming port infrastructure projects at Jawaharlal Nehru Port (JN Port).

The MoU was formally signed by Sanjay Kulshrestha, Chairman and Managing Director of HUDCO, and Unmesh Sharad Wagh, Chairman of JNPA.

HUDCO, a government-owned enterprise, primarily finances housing and urban infrastructure development, while this partnership marks a significant step toward enhancing maritime and port-related infrastructure to support India’s growing logistics and trade ecosystem.
