IAG Cargo has strengthened its third-party handling portfolio by signing an agreement to manage all MASkargo freight movements at London Heathrow. Under the new arrangement, Malaysian carrier MASkargo will route its Heathrow cargo through IAG Cargo’s premium Premia handling facility.
MASkargo — the freight arm of Malaysia Aviation Group — operates two daily Kuala Lumpur–London services, making Heathrow a key European entry point for its network. The shift to IAG Cargo’s infrastructure is expected to streamline its UK operations and enhance service reliability for customers.
The agreement follows the announcement earlier this year of a major multi-airline cargo partnership involving IAG Cargo, MASkargo and Qatar Airways Cargo. That joint business, set to launch in 2025, aims to integrate the carriers’ strengths to offer unified products, stronger interline connectivity, quicker transits and broader routing options across their combined global networks.
