Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal is set to launch the ₹25,060-crore Export Promotion Mission (EPM) on February 20, 2026, bolstering India’s export growth amid new FTAs and global trade shifts.

The flagship initiative splits into Niryat Protsahan (₹10,401 crore) for financial aid like interest subvention on MSME export credit, factoring, and guarantees; and Niryat Disha (₹14,659 crore) for non-financial support including trade fairs, branding, warehousing, and logistics reimbursements. Approved in November 2025, it counters US tariffs while leveraging deals with the US, UK, EU, and EFTA for market diversification.

Goyal emphasized deepening global integration, MSME empowerment, and sectors like agri, pharma, and textiles during recent EPC meetings. The mission extends RoDTEP until March 2026 and prioritizes quality, logistics reforms, and state collaboration for landlocked exporters.

EPM’s logistics focus enhances port hinterland connectivity, aligning with surging container volumes to Europe via IMEC and strengthened trade corridors. This positions Indian maritime exports for resilience against geopolitical disruptions.
