India has launched its first Wind Turbine Supply Chain Management Portal, a digital platform designed to strengthen the domestic wind energy supply chain and support the country’s goal of scaling up manufacturing and exports in the sector.
The portal will enable end-to-end tracking of wind energy components from manufacturing facilities to project sites, ensuring robust monitoring and transparency across the supply chain. This digital tracking aims to improve efficiency and coordinate activities between manufacturers, suppliers, and project implementers.
By digitizing supply chain management, the portal is expected to enhance India’s position as an emerging export hub for turbine OEMs and support localization of supply chain components for both domestic deployment and international markets.
