At the CTL-BHP, South Asia’s premier mega cargo show, Sameer Parikh – President and Chief Business Officer, J M Baxi Heavy said:

In the 1980-90s the heaviest pieces transported in India would be between 100 to 500 metric tons. Today, the heaviest is 5,400 metric ton. The heavy lift industry in India has come a long way. Recently, the infrastructure development capex was hiked by 33% to ₹10-lakh cr. for 2023-24. This positions our industry to lift heavier and more. Therefore, the onus is on us as well, to deliver India’s dream of a 3 trillion economy.
