Interasia Lines has launched a new Mozambique–Jebel Ali–India (MJI) service, offering a direct weekly shipping connection between West India, East Africa, and the Middle East, starting July 2025.

The service follows the rotation: Mundra – Nhava Sheva – Mombasa – Dar es Salaam – Beira – Maputo – Jebel Ali – Mundra. It provides Indian exporters and importers with direct access to Mozambique for the first time, alongside strengthened connectivity with Kenya (Mombasa) and Tanzania (Dar es Salaam).

The inclusion of Beira and Maputo marks Interasia Lines’ entry into Mozambique, expanding its service portfolio beyond its traditional intra-Asia and Indian Subcontinent network. The company said the MJI service underscores its commitment to offering reliable and flexible shipping options in fast-growing markets.

By tapping into Africa’s increasing role in global trade, the new service enhances Interasia’s position as a partner of choice for businesses seeking to connect India, East Africa, and the Middle East.
