The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) organized an Industry Interactive Session for Kakinada & Konaseema Districts, which witnessed the participation of a large number of industrialists and stakeholders from various sectors.
The District Collector, M.N. Harendhra Prasad, graced the occasion and addressed the gathering, highlighting the significance and vast industrial potential of Kakinada District. During his address, he noted that Kakinada District contributes significantly to the state GDP and ranks among the leading districts in Andhra Pradesh in terms of economic contribution.
The collector also emphasized the availability of Auro Industrial City, a large integrated industrial park spread across 5,600 acres, offering ready-to-use industrial infrastructure for industries looking to establish manufacturing and processing facilities in the region.
Representatives from various government departments, including APIIC, Fire Services Department, Industries Department, Horticulture Department, and Factory Department, participated in the session and engaged with industrialists on key industry-related matters.
The Collector and officials from the participating departments elaborated on the various policies, incentive schemes, and facilitation mechanisms available for industries. They also explained the initiatives undertaken by the Government of Andhra Pradesh to promote Ease of Doing Business and Speed of Doing Business, in line with the vision of the Hon’ble Chief Minister’s Vision 2047.
The participants, government officials, and members of the CII appreciated Auro Industrial City for facilitating and supporting this interactive platform that enabled meaningful engagement between industry and government stakeholders.
Addressing the gathering, Ram Reddy Ojili, CII Member Council and Managing Director of KSEZ & KGPL, highlighted the efforts of CII in supporting industrial growth and development. He encouraged industrialists to leverage CII’s platform for addressing and resolving industry-related challenges and concerns.
The session served as an effective forum for strengthening industry-government collaboration and promoting industrial growth in the Kakinada and Konaseema districts.
