Kakinada SEZ Limited (KSEZ) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Malaxmi Climate Resilience Platform Private Limited to develop climate-resilient technology projects across 20 acres within Kakinada SEZ in Andhra Pradesh.
Under the proposed development, the first phase will focus on establishing energy storage facilities and a bio-energy pellet manufacturing unit. The projects are intended to support the development of climate-focused and sustainable industrial activities within the special economic zone.
The MoU was signed by Ram Reddy Ojili, Managing Director & CEO, Kakinada SEZ Limited, and Harish CP Yarlagadda, Chairman, Malaxmi Climate Resilience Platform Private Limited, in the presence of officials from both organisations.
The development is expected to create employment opportunities and contribute to industrial and economic activity in Andhra Pradesh. The proposed facilities will form part of Kakinada SEZ’s focus on clean energy, sustainable manufacturing and climate-related industries.
