Kalé Logistics Solutions (Kalé) and e-Smart Logistics (e-SL) have signed a global strategic partnership that combines Kalé’s cloud-based air cargo technology suite with e-SL’s logistics expertise to deliver end-to-end visibility and enhanced operational capabilities for air cargo carriers.
The collaboration was announced at the International Air Cargo Association’s (TIACA) Executive Summit in Warsaw, Poland, on June 2, 2026. The partnership is designed to improve real-time visibility and transparency at the piece or stock keeping unit (SKU) level, enabling airlines to expand their product portfolios with e-commerce and high-value shipment services with total end-to-end capability.
e-SL works with airlines to deliver integrated, end-to-end logistics solutions for e-commerce shipments, increasing the scope of their networks. The partnership will offer airlines greater end-to-end visibility for e-commerce and high-value vertical products, unlocking new capabilities and expanding access to the sector for a wider range of carriers.
Kalé’s technology, combined with e-Smart Logistics’ expertise, will allow air cargo carriers to reach a new level of operational sophistication in serving the growing e-commerce and high-value goods markets. The joint solution is expected to provide piece-level and SKU-level tracking, greater transparency across the supply chain, and improved coordination between origin and destination operations.
The collaboration builds on Kalé’s strong position in air cargo IT, including its cargo community systems that support IATA’s Cargo IMP messaging, Cargo XML, and the emerging One Record framework, ensuring interoperability between India’s cargo platforms and global data standards. Kalé’s systems are designed to increase cargo velocity, allowing more cargo to move through the same airport infrastructure and helping reduce congestion at airports, especially during peak seasons.
By enabling secure data exchange across airports, ports and customs authorities, the partnership’s digital corridor approach aims to eliminate paperwork and delays while ensuring end-to-end security and compliance. This digital infrastructure supports the industry’s shift toward paperless trade and faceless assessment, which can significantly speed up customs clearance and reduce cargo dwell times at airports.
