Maersk Appoints Bruno Plantaz as New Global Head of Solutions

A.P. Moller – Maersk has appointed Bruno Plantaz as its new Global Head of Solutions and a member of the company’s Executive Leadership Team, effective November 1, 2026.

What experience does Bruno Plantaz bring to the role?

Plantaz brings extensive international experience in freight forwarding and contract logistics, including ten years with Kuehne+Nagel and more than a decade with CEVA Logistics, where he held senior leadership roles across Asia Pacific, Southern Europe, India, the Middle East and Africa.

Who is he succeeding and why?

Plantaz succeeds Narin Phol, who will leave the company at the end of September. During his time at Maersk, Phol held several senior leadership roles across Asia Pacific, India, Middle East and Africa, and North America, and played an important role in developing the company’s Logistics & Service business with a strong focus on serving customers.

What other leadership changes has Maersk announced alongside this appointment?

Maersk also confirmed that Chief People Officer Susana Elvira, after a 24-year career at the company, has decided to explore opportunities outside Maersk and will leave in mid-October. Elvira has played a pivotal role in shaping Maersk as an attractive and inclusive workplace for employees globally. Her successor has already been appointed and will join Maersk on November 1, 2026, with further details to be announced in due course.
