Mahindra Logistics reported a sharp jump in profitability for the June quarter, with standalone profit after tax rising nearly fivefold to Rs 29 crore compared to Rs 6.44 crore in the same period last year, the company said in a stock exchange filing on Monday.
Revenue from operations grew 23 percent year-on-year to Rs 1,654.89 crore, up from Rs 1,345.82 crore in the corresponding quarter of FY26. On a consolidated basis, the company posted a profit after tax of Rs 27.83 crore, reversing a loss of Rs 9.44 crore a year earlier, while consolidated revenue climbed 23 percent to Rs 2,002.88 crore from Rs 1,624.59 crore.
The company attributed the growth to broad-based momentum across its third-party logistics, express and mobility segments.
Hemant Sikka, Managing Director and CEO, said the quarter reflected the company’s transformation evolving into sustained growth, driven by disciplined execution, sharper customer-level economics and operational excellence. He credited the performance to strength in contract logistics with new customer additions, progress in turning around the express business, and continued improvements in network efficiency.
The contract logistics segment grew 26 percent year-on-year, with EBITDA up 31 percent, supported by cost discipline and improved customer profitability. The e-commerce and quick commerce business also continued to scale within the portfolio.
The express business expanded 58 percent year-on-year on a combination of volume and yield growth, marking the fourth consecutive quarter of gross margin and EBITDA improvement. Last-mile delivery operations swung to an EBITDA of Rs 2.6 crore from a loss of Rs 50 lakh a year earlier, even as the segment’s revenue contracted 16 percent following a deliberate recalibration toward more profitable customers.
The mobility business grew 38 percent year-on-year on new B2B customer additions, with EBITDA rising 8 percent. Warehouse space under management increased by 1.52 million square feet over the previous quarter to reach 21.9 million square feet, driven by new site additions for specific customers.
