Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) will introduce a new weekly shipping loop linking North India with the Middle East, beginning late September 2025. The service is designed to improve trade connectivity and provide exporters and importers with more direct and reliable transport options.

Service Highlights

  • Deployment: Three vessels, each with a capacity of around 2,500 TEUs.
  • Port Rotation: Hazira – Mundra – Nhava Sheva (India) – Sohar (Oman) – Abu Dhabi (UAE) – Dammam (Saudi Arabia) – back to Hazira.

The inclusion of King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam—equipped with 43 berths and a handling capacity of 105 million tons—adds significant regional capacity, reinforcing the port’s role as a major hub for both regional and international trade.
