MV Cl Peking has berthed at Deendayal Port with a large consignment of coal from the United States for UltraTech Cement.
The vessel arrived carrying nearly 82,000 metric tonnes of coal, reinforcing Deendayal Port’s role as an important bulk cargo gateway. The operation highlights the port’s ability to handle large-volume imports efficiently while supporting the raw material needs of India’s cement industry.
Bulk Cargo Movement
Coal imports of this scale are significant for industrial supply chains, especially for companies that depend on steady fuel and raw material deliveries. The berthing of such a vessel reflects the continuing movement of dry bulk cargo through major Indian ports.
Deendayal Port continues to handle bulk shipments linked to manufacturing and infrastructure sectors, where timely discharge and cargo handling are essential. Large consignments like this are central to maintaining continuity in downstream production.
