Uzbekistan-based cargo airline My Freighter has commenced scheduled cargo services on the Asia–Europe trade lane, introducing a new route from Shanghai Pudong (PVG) to Amsterdam Schiphol (AMS) via its main hub in Tashkent (TAS).
Operating twice weekly with a Boeing 767-300 freighter, the service offers a total transit time of 17 hours. The launch marks My Freighter’s entry into scheduled operations, made possible through its partnership with cargo sales agent Air Cargo APAC.
The airline said the route addresses rising airfreight demand between China and Europe while positioning Tashkent as an emerging international logistics hub. Designed as a “smart logistics solution,” the service links China’s largest manufacturing and export base with one of Europe’s busiest cargo gateways, offering an alternative to congested transit points such as Dubai and Istanbul. Priority cargo includes automotive parts, high-tech equipment, semiconductors, e-commerce shipments, and express parcels.
According to the World Trade Organization (WTO), China’s exports to Europe are forecast to grow by 6% in 2025, partly due to shifting trade flows away from the US following the removal of the de minimis exemption for e-commerce shipments and changes to US tariffs. The new service follows My Freighter’s network expansion in mid-2024, which included flights to PVG and Ezhou Huahu (EHU) after securing rights to operate between Uzbekistan and Mainland China in April. Last month, the airline also launched services from TAS to Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport (HGH) in eastern China.
