Myanmar President Min Aung Hlaing has visited Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) at Navi Mumbai with a 67-member delegation to explore cooperation and knowledge-sharing in India’s maritime and port sectors.
Focus of the visit
The JNPA team briefed the delegation on the port’s infrastructure, operational performance, capacity expansion, sustainability initiatives, and its future growth roadmap. A key highlight of the presentation was the planned Vadhvan Port Project, envisaged as one of India’s largest deep-draft ports and a major driver of regional maritime trade growth.
