Kerala took another major step toward strengthening its logistics infrastructure with NDR Space Pvt. Ltd launching a ₹250-crore Grade-A warehousing and logistics facility at Chununganveli near Aluva. The foundation stone for the project was laid by State Industries Minister P. Rajeeve, marking a key milestone in Kerala’s industrial growth agenda.
Spanning 16 acres, the advanced logistics park is expected to generate employment for around 300 people, both directly and indirectly, and significantly enhance supply chain efficiency in the region.
Speaking at the event, Minister Rajeeve noted that the project represents the 100th investment facilitated through the Invest Kerala Summit, held in February this year. “Following the Summit, the State has attracted investments worth ₹36,000 crore, creating approximately 50,000 new jobs,” he said. Kerala’s investment conversion rate of 24% stands notably higher than the national average of 14–15%, underscoring the state’s growing appeal to investors across sectors such as logistics, manufacturing, and services.
The Aluva project, scheduled for commissioning by March 2026, is part of NDR Space’s larger strategy to develop nearly two million sq. ft. of Grade-A warehousing and industrial space across Kerala over the next few years.
Designed to serve key growth sectors such as FMCG, pharmaceuticals, e-commerce, and third-party logistics (3PL), the facility will feature modern infrastructure, efficient design, and technology-driven operations to meet evolving supply chain needs.
Once operational, the warehousing park is expected to become a cornerstone of Kerala’s efforts to modernize its logistics ecosystem, attract high-value industries, and foster sustainable employment-driven growth.
