Ocean Network Express (ONE) has announced significant adjustments to its East Coast South America Express 2 (SX2) service, adding Shanghai to both eastbound and westbound rotations while replacing Hong Kong with Cai Mep.
On the eastbound leg, Shanghai will be introduced as a new port call beginning with the HYUNDAI INTEGRAL voyage 0149E, scheduled to arrive at Rio Grande on 3 September. The switch from Hong Kong to Cai Mep will follow shortly after, taking effect from the MOL EXPERIENCE voyage 0097E, due at Rio Grande on 17 September.
Shanghai will also join the westbound rotation. This addition starts with the HYUNDAI INTEGRAL voyage 0150W, calling at Pusan on 15 October.
ONE said the updates are aimed at strengthening network connectivity and enhancing service reliability across Asia–South America trade routes.
