Pacific Inter-Link Sdn Bhd (PIL) announces the berthing of Pacific Pride, at Johor Port, Pasir Gudang – marking a strategic milestone in the Group’s growing logistics capabilities.
As part of PIL’s long-term vision to strengthen supply chain integration and regional connectivity, Pacific Pride will serve as a dedicated chartered vessel supporting the export of palm oil. This milestone marks a significant step forward for Pacific Oils & Fats Industries Sdn Bhd (PACOIL), an affiliate of PIL, as it proudly undertakes the historic maiden voyage of Pacific Pride.
“The launch of Pacific Pride marks a new chapter in our growth story. It symbolises our forward momentum, integrating logistics into our core business and aligning our infrastructure to serve customers faster, smarter and more sustainably,” said Dato’ (Dr) Fouad Hayel Saeed Anam, Chairman and Group CEO of Pacific Inter-Link Sdn Bhd.

The launch of Pacific Pride also marks a strategic move to strengthen Pacific Inter-Link’s group control over its end-to-end supply chain. By operating this vessel, the Group gains greater flexibility in navigating global trade routes. This enhanced autonomy helps insulate its logistics operations from external geopolitical risks and volatile shipping costs, ensuring more stable and reliable delivery timelines for key markets.
The vessel’s maiden voyage signifies PIL’s commitment to long-term value creation through trade efficiency, brand visibility and infrastructure investment – all while elevating Malaysia’s global trade presence.
