[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Kolkata-based Phonex Logistics (P) Ltd (PLPL), a sister concern of Phonex Traders (P) Ltd (PTPL), inaugurated its first state-of-art container freight station (CFS) at a proximity of 2 km from Netaji Dock System (Kolkata Port) on March 28, 2017.
PLPL plans to provide economical CFS services to its regular and volume-based customers. The company’s focused customers would be commodity importers and exporters as well as the wood-based industry.
The CFS has four lakh sq. ft of paved area for container storage, and one lakh sq. ft of area for storage of cargo in open/covered yard.
The company would provide a complete supply chain management solution for its corporate customers, which includes moving of containers from port, and delivery of containers or cargo up to their warehouses/factories or final destination.
The CFS has all the modern state-of-art infrastructure for handling containers, cargoes of various types with packaging and re-packaging facilities and 3 G+1 storied warehouses.
