Piyush Goyal to discuss ways to boost exports

In FY24, Indian exports stood at $437.1 billion, while imports were $675.4 billion. The Commerce and Industry Ministry has been developing SOPs for FTAs and the same will also be discussed with the export community. Leather industry will also discuss PLI scheme extension for leather intensive sectors, which is facing high import duty on wet blue leather used in making luxury goods.
