Pranav Choudhary appointed MD of Allcargo Terminals

Allcargo Group company and CFS-ICD network operator Allcargo Terminals Ltd (ATL) has announced the appointment of Pranav Choudhary as Managing Director with effect from September 1, 2026. Choudhary succeeds incumbent Suresh Kumar Ramiah, who concludes his tenure upon superannuation on August 31, 2026.

Over the course of his career, Choudhary has led large-scale infrastructure businesses and projects, with experience spanning business strategy, infrastructure development, capital allocation, project execution, corporate finance, policy advocacy, stakeholder engagement and governance.

Shashi Kiran Shetty, Founder and Chairman, Allcargo Group, said Choudhary’s extensive experience across ports and infrastructure will be invaluable as the company accelerates its digital-first growth strategy, expands its national footprint and unlocks the next phase of value creation for customers and stakeholders. Shetty also acknowledged the valuable contribution of Suresh Kumar Ramiah to the Group.

Ramiah said it has been a privilege to lead Allcargo Terminals and contribute to its growth journey, adding that he is proud of what the team has achieved in strengthening the company’s CFS and ICD capabilities and building lasting customer relationships. He thanked Shetty, the Board and the entire ATL team for their support, and expressed confidence that Choudhary’s experience and leadership will take the company to greater heights.

The appointment comes as Allcargo Terminals pursues a strategy to reach one million TEUs in annual throughput capacity by FY30. The company, currently operating at around 90% utilisation across its Container Freight Stations, is executing several capacity addition projects, including a JNPT expansion adding 60,000 TEUs of annual handling capacity, construction of the Farukhnagar PFT on track for completion by March 2027, and new facilities and expansions underway at Chennai and Mundra, with total capacity projected to grow from 830,000 TEUs in FY25 to 1,345,000 TEUs in FY30.

Allcargo Terminals operates India’s widest CFS network, specialising in Container Freight Stations and Inland Container Depots at strategic locations including Nhava Sheva JNPT, Mundra, Chennai and Kolkata.
