Premier Energies bags Rs 1700 cr. Solar module supply order from NTPC Limited for Nokh Solar PV Project in Rajasthan

Premier Energies, India’s second largest integrated solar cell and module manufacturer, has been awarded a 608-megawatt (MW) DCR (Indigenous Solar Cell and Module) Bifacial Solar PV Modules supply order from NTPC Limited, a public sector undertaking owned by the Government of India. NTPC is India’s largest power utility with an installed capacity of 73,824 MW (including JVs), with plans to become a 130 GW company by 2032.

The order, valued at approximately Rs. 1700 crore is for supplying Bifacial solar PV modules for NTPC’s Nokh Solar PV Project in Rajasthan. The supply is expected to be completed in a span of 9 months.

Premier Energies’ Bifacial Solar PV Modules are manufactured at the Company’s 40 acre state-of-the-art facility in Hyderabad and are designed to maximize energy generation and enhance overall project efficiency and output.

With an annual module capacity of 4GW (& cell capacity of 2GW) the company is dedicated to developing world class indigenous solar cells and modules and to significantly contributing towards the ‘Make in India’ manufacturing initiative.
