Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA), India’s largest container-handling port, is pleased to announce that Ravish Kumar Singh, IRTS, has assumed charge as the Deputy Chairperson of JNPA.
Upon his arrival at JNPA, he was warmly welcomed by Gaurav Dayal, IAS, Chairperson, JNPA, in the presence of the Heads of Departments. The leadership extended their best wishes as he embarks on this important role in steering JNPA’s operational excellence, digital transformation, and future expansion.
Singh holds a Engineering degree and brings with him a distinguished and diverse professional background spanning the Indian Railways as well as the private sector. Prior to joining JNPA, he served as the Deputy Chief Operations Manager, Central Railway, a role he has held since Sept. 2023. In his various roles over South East Central & Central Railway led key operational strategies, and efficiency initiatives across one of India’s busiest railway zones.
