Tiger Logistics (India) has secured a new import break‑bulk logistics contract from Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL), valued at about ₹4 crore including handling charges. The mandate covers the transportation of over‑dimensional cargo from Italy to India, reinforcing the company’s position in project cargo and heavy‑lift logistics.

Under the contract, Tiger Logistics will handle 13 over‑dimensional cargo units, each weighing around 89 metric tonnes, for movement to India. The deal adds to the company’s existing portfolio of projects for BHEL and highlights demand for specialised break‑bulk and ODC logistics solutions in capital goods and engineering sectors.

Tiger Logistics provides international freight forwarding, customs clearance, warehousing, transportation, air freight, full‑container‑load (FCL) and less‑than‑container‑load (LCL) services, along with break‑bulk and project logistics. Its continued work with large public sector undertakings such as BHEL underlines its capabilities in managing complex, multi‑country supply chains for over‑dimensional and high‑value industrial cargo.

On the financial side, Tiger Logistics reported standalone net sales of ₹162.55 crore in Q4 FY26, up about 42 per cent year‑on‑year, while net profit came in at ₹2.22 crore. The stock traded around ₹36.20 on the day of the announcement, reflecting a modest gain as investors reacted to the new logistics contract win.
