Unifeeder unveils new India–Mediterranean shipping route

With direct connections to important ports in India, Egypt, and Turkey, IMD provides a service every ten days that handles both dry and reefer cargo.

In order to extend its network into Northern Egypt and Turkey, Unifeeder has announced the opening of the India Med Service (IMD). “By improving connectivity between India and the Mediterranean region, this strategic addition strengthens our ISC services,” Unifeeder stated.

With direct connections to important ports in India, Egypt, and Turkey, IMD provides a service every ten days that handles both dry and reefer cargo. The service will run on a 42-day rotation, starting eastbound on July 5th, week 27. The following is the service: Izmit (Evyap) – Izmir (Aliaga) – Mersin – Port Said E – Aqaba – Jeddah – Nhava Sheva – Mundra – Jeddah – Aqaba – Port Said E – Alexandria – Istanbul (Kumport) – Istanbul (Marport)
